By the beginning of March, I was exhausted in every way imaginable. But God. Amidst all of these trials, the Lord was near. Through my reading of the Psalms, the Holy Spirit gently reminded my heart that, no matter my circumstances, He is never changing. He hears the cries of our hearts and answers the calls of His people. While I will always be grateful in times of peace and abundance, I hear from Jesus most clearly when the trappings of earthly stability and certainty are removed.
