REFLECT

The Message paraphrase of this passage reads: We look at this Son and see the God who cannot be seen. Think through what this means. God’s desire was to be seen by human hearts, and he met that desire in a baby boy, born to imperfect parents, who walked the earth for 33 years living a perfect life.

• In what ways can you see God’s love reflected for us in the image of Christ?
• Often, our view of God is clouded by our experience with our earthly fathers. In order to truly know Him, we must know Jesus. In what ways are you getting to know Jesus better in this season?

Father, because we are made in your image, we reflect you too. Help us to know you well so that we can reflect you well to those in our circle of influence. Thank you for pursuing our hearts by sending Jesus to earth to live and to die for us.
